In a surprising mix of artists, K-pop star and BTS member Jimin joins American artists Kodak Black, NLE Choppa, JVKE, and Muni Long in the opening soundtrack for Fast X.
The “Angel Pt. 1” collaboration was revealed to fans on May 9 on BigHit’s Twitter and received positive responses from fans of the collaborating artists. The upcoming “Angel Pt. 1” will be released on May 18th, one day before the release date of the 10th part of “The Fast and the Furious” series, Fast X.
On May 9th, a one-minute snipped dubbed the trailer version of “Angel Pt. 1” was released to multiple streaming platforms. The teaser would feature JVKE and Jimin singing the chorus and Kodak Black’s rapping his verse. Within the first week, the trailer version amassed 5 million streams on Spotify alone.
NLE Choppa also took to his youtube to upload a 25-second music video trailer for “Angel Pt. 1,” totalling nearly a million views in a week. The music video features Muni Long singing the chorus.
